I saw these fellows play in 1982 in Liverpool. I was standing next to Will Sargeant from Echo and the Bunnymen and he looked at me and said "These guys are fantastic" in a very understated but sincere tone. And they were. Less is more is not as easy as it looks.
That's such a cool little anecdote! Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my blog. I have a friend that describes the Comsat Angels as "the band Joy Division should have been." I disagree with that statement, but there are definitely similarities. In my opinion, there's nothing better than stumbling upon a little post-punk gem, it's an exciting feeling.
