This album kicks ass. It starts right off with a pulse, and wasted no time in asserting itself as one of my favorites. Vamp vocals, perpetual bassline, embellished with a well-placed metallic twang, and amazing cover art to boot. I was originally prepared to make a Bush Tetras reference based on the first track, but upon listening to
Yo-Yo, the delightfully funky and sultry second track, this band clearly has flexibility and range. Solid post-punk/new-wave gem.
